As the holiday season continues, BrightView Lima says that this time of year can be a struggle for those dealing with an addiction.
Depression is a common concern for patients at BrightView around the holidays, as well as triggers that remind those patients of traumatic experiences they've had.
The holidays can also be a tough time for families of people that are struggling with an addiction, and those with BrightView say that they work with those families through tough times.
"Holidays are sometimes tough for people, because they lost loved ones to addiction, or sometimes people don’t even have a family - so to know that we’re here for them is very reassuring for them," said Heather Stebleton, operations coordinator for BrightView.
