Superior Wholesale Distributors held their 27th annual trade show Thursday at Lima's Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center. The show draws clients in the restaurant industry from a 100-mile radius to get a taste of what is new and trendy in the business. From appetizers to desserts and candy to packaging, there was plenty to put on the menu.
"Other than the new items which are great they get special allowances for buying product if they come to the show where the manufacturers give them off invoice and different things to make it incentive for them to buy," said Dave Cockerell, Superior Wholesale Distributors executive vice president.
Superior Wholesale Distributors have been located in downtown Lima since 1981 working with vendors and clients in the food industry.
