Parents are preparing for kids to head back into the classroom, but not everyone can afford all the required supplies.
Lima City Councilman Derry Glenn is working in conjunction with the Fresh & Faded salon to make sure every student in Allen County arrives to class prepared. Glenn and several other barbershops in Lima are working hard to both bring in and hand out school supplies. Glenn says they will even be handing out clothes, shoes, boots, and school uniforms. While they look forward to helping out the students of Allen County, additional donations are required to cover the number of students they expect to see on August 13th.
If you want to donate school supplies, stop by the Fresh & Faded at 227 South Main Street in Lima during business hours. On Sunday, August 13, they will be distributing the school supplies at Fresh & Faded from noon to 4 PM.
