Officials say that the location of the fire is not close enough for the fire trucks to connect to the fire hydrant so trucks have to go to the hydrant and fill up on water.

Officials say that the location of the fire is not close enough for the fire trucks to connect to the fire hydrant so trucks have to go to the hydrant and fill up on water and then bring the water back to the site of the fire, causing a longer time to put out the flames. The nearest hydrant is approximately one-third of a mile away from the scene at the intersection of Bible and New Brecht Road.

The cause of the fire is still unknown and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
