LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The trial of Jonathan Wheeler, a 31-year-old man indicted on rape and aggravated robbery charges in Allen County, began Monday afternoon.
Wheeler was indicted for an incident that occurred nearly a year ago. He is accused of holding a woman against her will, sexually assaulting her, and stealing from her.

He initially attempted to plead not guilty by reason of insanity, but a court ruled he was competent to stand trial.
The trial is expected to last three days.
