OTTAWA, Ohio (WLIO) — The four-time defending WBL champion Ottawa-Glandorf Titans opened league play with a strong performance, taking down Shawnee 55–46 behind a career night from senior guard Karsyn Erford.

Erford led all scorers with 23 points, cutting to the basket and finishing through traffic as O-G built early momentum. She later set up fellow senior Savannah Recker for a key bucket that extended the Titans’ advantage to 18 in the second quarter.

Shawnee continued to battle, with senior Morgan Betts knocking down a quick catch-and-shoot jumper to trim the deficit. Ava Gadson added a driving layup later in the game, but the Indians were unable to close the gap.

Ottawa-Glandorf pulled away late as sophomore Allison Kuhlman scored through two defenders to help secure the win. The Titans move to 1–0 in WBL play as they continue their pursuit of another league title.
