LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Habitat for Humanity's ReStore is celebrating Christmas with 12 days of festive activities for all ages.
The ReStore invited local craft vendors to their Christmas Village for customers who still have some people to cross off of their shopping list. So far, they've hosted a coloring contest, movie nights, and plenty of giveaways. Besides providing the community more holiday fun, the 12 Days of Christmas at the store helps bring people into the store and supports Habitat for Humanity.
"The overall mission of ReStore is of course to help build houses for Habitat. We luckily finished one in Delphos this year and of course, we're starting another one. But we also do repairs as well. So all of this has helped generate funds to do repairs on roofs and things like that that are much needed, especially this time of year," said Jill Herndon, an associate at the ReStore.
This coming week, the ReStore will play free Christmas movies all day on Wednesday, and hold an ugly Christmas sweater contest on Thursday.
