The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce recognizing one individual for their efforts to promote business in the community.
Jason May of First Federal Bank was named the Chamber's Ambassador of the Year. It's awarded to a member who promotes the Chamber and its mission by attending events throughout the year. May says he has enjoyed being an ambassador for the Chamber.
"That it's not something that I did on my own, a lot of people helped out, the Chamber is a huge advocate for me and First Federal Bank, of course, has been just amazing for me the last couple years, and then my wife and family and kids, of course, has been great support also," said May.
The Chamber also recognized 29 businesses with their Circle of Influence Award.
