LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Public Library has something for everyone with their programming reaching people from birth to 99 or older.

Lima Public Library holds friendly monster-themed "Family Friday Story Time"

The activities are geared toward children ages 3 to 5 years of age. There is always some singing, crafting, and, of course, reading.

Today was "Family Friday Story Time" in the Youth Services on the second floor. The activities are geared toward children ages 3 to 5 years of age. There is always some singing, crafting, and, of course, reading. With Halloween approaching, the stories were monster-based, friendly monsters, that is.

The children listened to "Itty Bitty Betty Blob" by Constance Lombardo and illustrated by Micah Player.

The author hopes that children see that being yourself is enough after reading the book.

The Lima Library has a multitude of programs, with "Nighty Night Story Time" on October 16th at 6 p.m., "Baby Toddler Story Time" on the 22nd, and "Friday Family Story Time" on the 25th, both starting at 10 a.m. You can find a full schedule of programs on the library's website at https://www.limalibrary.com/ or stop by the library to pick up a catalog.
