Lima's Husky Refinery wants to upgrade its equipment to produce various types of oil.
But first the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has to say yes.
The Ohio EPA held an information session Tuesday night to discuss the draft air permit issued for equipment changes to Husky.
But before the permit is approved, the Ohio EPA must first get feedback from the public.
And Tuesday night the Ohio EPA received nothing but high marks from different organizations and businesses in Lima.
Lima Refinery General Manager Roy Warnock says the changes will help the company stay competitive.
Warnock says Husky has always been concerned about the environment, and the permit would limit emission levels.
Ohio EPA will accept written comments on the draft permit through October 7th.
