A Lima man accused of shooting another man outside the G-Spot Bar this past summer was supposed to be scheduled for a pre-trial Friday afternoon, but with family emotions running high, plans changed.
24-year-old Demonta Rogers allegedly shot and killed Remeal Ingram on July 5, 2016 and certain aspects of the case, according to Judge David Cheney, are now being reconsidered. After making some plea negotiations, issues arose and still haven't been resolved. Judge Cheney called it an emotionally charged situation and advised the pre-trial date be moved to Friday, March 3rd.
Rogers is charged with murder with a gun specification and discharging a firearm on prohibited premises.
