The Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fatal fire north of Cairo.
The fire happened Monday morning at 8309 Ottawa Road. They say that one male died in the fire, but they are not releasing the name or age of the victim. That information will have to come from the Allen County Coroner's Office.
The fire started in the living room of the home and the damage was mostly contained to that area. The cause of the fire is undetermined, the investigation is ongoing.
