COLUMBUS GROVE, Ohio (WLIO) - Several fire departments responded to a house fire outside of Columbus Grove Wednesday morning.
Crews were called to 6840 Grismore Road just before noon. Firefighters say a fire started in the basement near the breaker box and spread to the attic.
The basement and first floor sustained significant smoke damage, though crews say the home is still structurally sound. A resident was home at the time of the fire but made it out safely.
