Allen Lima Leadership (ALL) celebrated its 35th anniversary tonight, marking more than three decades of developing the region’s future leaders. Past and present ALL alumni, along with area businesses and organizations, gathered to commemorate the milestone and its lasting impact on the community.

Area high school students got a firsthand experience of how various Allen County agencies impact the community. Today is Allen Lima Youth Leadership Day with the agency, and for the day, the Allen Lima Youth Leadership, along with the United Way of Greater Lima, held their ALL Youth Impact Tour. On the tour, students from 10 area high schools visited and learned about several agencies, including the West Ohio Food Bank, Bradfield Community Center, and Soldiers of Honor, to name a few.

Working together to make a difference is the goal of the Allen Lima Leadership Youth Program. Friday, 32 students representing 10 Allen County schools started their journey through the program that is under the umbrella of the Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce. They worked on team building by working together to create a balloon tower as tall as they could get it without it falling over.
