ELIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — The stars were out at the Fieldhouse in Elida as the boys took center stage in the District 8 All-Star Game.

Team East showcased its firepower early and never looked back.

Bath’s Logan Markley had 15 points for Team West, but Team East answered with a pair of standout performances from the Elwer brothers. Delphos St. John’s junior Andrew Elwer knocked down multiple shots from deep on his way to 14 points, while Furman commit Cameron Elwer stole the show with a game-high 37 points.

Minster’s Cole Albers added 10 points, while Shawnee’s Trevick Bertke brought the crowd to its feet with a thunderous dunk off a feed from Andrew Elwer.

Team West kept pace with outside shooting from Spencerville’s Will Sensabaugh, who finished with 11 points, and Liberty-Benton’s Lincoln Holler, who added nine.

In the second half, the high-flying action continued. Marion Local’s Brayden Mescher added nine points, while Lima Senior’s Willie Foster led Team West with 22, highlighted by a powerful slam. Teammate Shawn Foster followed with 16 points of his own.

Lima Central Catholic’s Jordan Priddy electrified the crowd with a dunk and finished with 25 points, while Arlington’s Calvin Willow added 14, including a windmill jam.

Shawnee’s Beckett Bertke capped off the scoring with a windmill dunk, finishing with 29 points.

In the end, Team East rolled to a 136-104 victory over Team West.
