LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Allen Lima Leadership (ALL) celebrated its 35th anniversary tonight, marking more than three decades of developing the region’s future leaders.

Allen Lima Leadership marks 35 years of shaping community leaders

Over the years, many ALL graduates have chosen to remain in the Lima/Allen County area, putting their leadership skills to work in the community they call home.

Past and present ALL alumni, along with area businesses and organizations, gathered to commemorate the milestone and its lasting impact on the community. The organization’s first class graduated in October 1990. Since then, more than 1,000 participants have completed the adult Signature Course, and nearly 900 students have gone through the Allen Lima Youth Leadership program. Over the years, many ALL graduates have chosen to remain in the Lima/Allen County area, putting their leadership skills to work in the community they call home.

“Many of the factories and many of the largest companies all the way down to small insurance companies and retail operations, non-profit operations have been a part of Allen Lima Leadership. You would be hard pressed to find an organization that doesn't have a leader that's making an impact today that didn't go through our program,” says Matt Childers, Executive Director, Allen Lima Leadership.

Registration is now open for the September class, and the organization will continue its recently launched Heroic Leadership Workshop.
