ELIDA, Ohio (WLIO) — The best of the best took the court at the Fieldhouse in Elida for the District 8 All-Star Game, kicking things off with the girls matchup.
It didn’t take long for the scoring to get going.
Findlay’s Davinee Harris knocked down a triple early and finished with 12 points, while Allen East’s Evelyn Lehman added eight with a three of her own.
Liberty-Benton’s Corra Dehart led her squad with 19 points, but Team East answered with a strong showing. Kalida’s Addilyn Huber chipped in nine points, and Ottawa-Glandorf senior Karsyn Erford — a Findlay commit — added 10.
Crestview’s Kaci Gregory made her presence felt with 12 points, while Columbus Grove’s Nicole Nesby added 10 in the second half.
Ottawa-Glandorf junior Madison McKee contributed eight points, but it was Ottoville’s Brooklyn Koester who stole the show. The junior poured in a game-high 23 points, highlighted by a connection from Erford.
In the end, Team East pulled away for a 75-63 victory in the District 8 All-Star Game in Elida.
