LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Hundreds of people went to the Allen County Fairgrounds on Saturday to find everything they need before the Christmas season…
Getting a dairy cow ready for the judges doesn’t happen overnight, Parthemore says people don’t realize that one key essential to showing an animal of this size is the time you put in working with them. Besides dairy cows, Parthemore has taken a variety of other projects to the fair, She just went down to state to compete with a fishing 4H project. She enjoys 4H and is trying to get others to join in the fun.
The show will go on, but has been rescheduled to August 21st, 2021. Those who have bought tickets and want to attend next year's performance can hold onto them for an automatic rollover. Those that would like a refund, have until September 10th to do so. Proof of ticket purchase will be required upon request of a refund.
The Allen County Fair Board held a special meeting this evening to discuss continuous changes being made to the fair this year. In the upcoming weeks, dates for the demolition derby, and drag races will be announced. Camping will be open with registration for Junior Fair exhibitors, and grounds acts are confirmed.
