A car vs motorcycle accident on Eastown Road Tuesday evening sends one person to the hospital. American Township Police and Fire Departments along with the Ohio State Highway Patrol were called to the scene around 5 pm.

Around 10:45 a.m., American Township First responders were called out to 3330 of West Elm Street for reports of a car hitting a business. The air bag deployed in the vehicle. Two people were transported from the scene, with minor injuries. The business sustained minor damage as well. The crash remains under investigation.

The crash happened around 12:30. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says all three vehicles involved were headed east on Bluelick Road. The white van was following the black vehicle and didn't stop in time, ramming into its back bumper. That vehicle crashed into the back of the gold van, shattering its back window. One person from the black vehicle was taken to the hospital.

American Township Fire and EMS were called to the Lima Mall around 9 pm Saturday night with reports of smoke inside the mall.

American Township fire investigators are looking into the cause of a fire this evening in Allentown.
