Executive Director Amy Wiechart-Bayliff spoke to the Lima Kiwanis this week about the organization’s mission to support those experiencing the trauma of a violent event. She said their role is to provide guidance and ensure victims have the resources they need.

“Some victims request full participation in the process, and for some that's too much, and so we're there to be able to assist them in the way that is meaningful and can support their healing and their participation in the justice process,” Wiechart-Bayliff said.

"This is open to anyone in the community," said Paula Snyder Belousek, a board member at the Center for Peace and Reconciliation. "If you are struggling in work relationships or maybe in school or in community organizations and you want some extra tips, this would be a great program for you to attend."

Delphos residents now have the opportunity to explore a new community garden thanks to a recent partnership between area agencies. The new community garden in Suever Park showcases a total of fourteen garden beds full of various flowers and produce. Community gardeners have contributed many of the produce and flowers in the garden. Allen County Public Health, LACNIP, and Mercy Health-St. Rita's partnered together for this project in an effort to beautify the park, and ultimately teach kids about nature.
