LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — Conflict is a part of life, but an upcoming seminar aims to help people handle it in a healthier way.
The Center for Peace and Reconciliation will host Amy Wiechart-Bayliff, executive director of Crime Victim Services, for a presentation titled "Constructively Managing Conflict" this Wednesday evening. Wiechart-Bayliff, who holds a master’s degree in conflict resolution, will share strategies for reframing how individuals approach conflict in their daily lives.
The Center believes the topic is relevant to everyone, regardless of their background or experiences.
"This is open to anyone in the community," said Paula Snyder Belousek, a board member at the Center for Peace and Reconciliation. "If you are struggling in work relationships or maybe in school or in community organizations and you want some extra tips, this would be a great program for you to attend."
"Constructively Managing Conflict" will take place Wednesday, April 30th at 7 p.m. at the Center for Peace and Reconciliation, located at 129 South Pierce Street in downtown Lima. The event is free and open to the public.
