"If you are struggling in work relationships or maybe in school or in community organizations and you want some extra tips, this would be a great program for you to attend."

The Area Agency on Aging and West Ohio Community Action Partnership have teamed up in order to start a search for senior volunteers to go into classrooms to read to kids and help teachers. Those who are interested will have to go through a background check and get training in volunteerism. Both organizations say that it is important to ensure that students get the attention they need in order to fully develop their education.

Representatives from the chamber energy program put on a seminar for people to learn more about how to save money on electric and natural gas costs. They talked about knowing the ends and out of contracts with energy providers to make sure you are not costing yourself more money. But it all starts with understanding what rate you are paying.

Lima business owners as well as aspiring owners attended a seminar to learn more about funding and resource options for their business. The Small Business Administration held the informational session in order to share the different types of ways that small businesses can be helped through financing and resources.
