Meteorologist Stephen Puglisi's Thursday AM Forecast 8/6/26
The stretch of fantastic weather to begin the week unfortunately comes to an end today. A few areas of shower activity are moving through the area this morning, but most of us should stay dry until mid afternoon, when a round of heavy showers and thunderstorms is likely. Severe weather is not expected, but lightning is definitely possible so make sure you have a place to move if you get caught in one of them this afternoon. The storm threat continues for much of the next seven days, but will we be able to keep the temperatures comfortable? Find out in the forecast!
