Looking for a creative way to keep kids busy after school? ArtSpace Lima is launching a new program to do just that.
ArtSpace Executive Director Sally Windle said the building has a rich history, but they only knew what the exterior looked like from photos at the Allen County Museum.
“It’s just a fun way for people to express themselves and for the library to connect with patrons in a way that’s not just about books,” said Liz Smith, head of Public Relations at the Lima Public Library.
“We've got three artists who do different things, but they all have a really great spirit, and that's why we've been aimed at capturing the spirit,” said Sally Windle, executive director of ArtSpace Lima. “So when you come in, you're going to see lots of information, lots of styles, lots of stories, but a great, great show.”
The Lima Symphony Orchestra brings the enchantment of the silver screen to life in Once Upon a Time: Movie Music, a family-friendly outdoor concert featuring Disney movie music and scores from epic Hollywood blockbusters.
