Knowledge is key when fighting a potentially deadly condition like heart disease. That is why The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Lima Memorial Health System teamed up again to host their annual Heart Summit.
Friends of the Lima Memorial Foundation took part in a black-tie event with networking, gourmet food, a live auction, and the fund-a-need paddle raise at Thursday night's Journey 2023. All proceeds and donations from the event will be put towards the creation of a dedicated observation unit at Lima Memorial to better care for patients presenting less urgent, but still serious health symptoms, like cardiac issues.
