The event provides physicians, nurses, and allied professionals with cutting-edge information to manage and treat heart disease. Presenters discuss best practices across various specialties, including emerging trends such as addressing heart issues that may arise from the latest cancer treatments.

“For example, some subject we're going to bring next is called cardiac oncology, because we've seen people surviving the cancer, and guess what, we are treating them now for cardiac, an unwanted side effect from the immunotherapy and other therapy that make the patient life longer. So, it's really exciting time to bring it on annual basis and update our colleague and folks at Lima Memorial Hospital and in Lima health area,” said Dr. Mahmoud Houmsse, a cardiologist at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
