Elida Middle School students preparing for their futures thanks to a new hands-on class. The "Career Connections" class is a new course that 7th and 8th grade students can take to prepare them for careers they are interested in. The course provides hands-on experience in a variety of careers such as sports medicine, engineering, robotics, and drone technology, just to name a few. According to school officials, the program was added so students become more prepared on what career they want to pursue at an earlier age so they don't have to wait until high school.
