Over 1,000 kids from around 450 families will be having a better Christmas thanks to the Lima Salvation Army and area residents. The families that signed up for the Christmas Assistance Program have been picking up their items at the Salvation Army over the past couple of days. They will get not only three toys and stocking stuffers for each kid but also some clothing for members of the family and food.

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - After a successful fundraiser this fall, ABATE of Ohio is out buying presents for kids in need.

The A.B.A.T.E. of Ohio held a drive-thru drop off run for toys on Sunday at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
