September 30, 2024, Press Release from the Findlay Police Department: On 9-30-2024 at approximately 0105 hrs. officers were dispatched to Circle K (100 Crystal Ave.) for a report of a possible robbery that had taken place at another location. The victim claimed a male got into a vehicle he was in, pistol whipped him, and stole cash from him. The victim was driven from the scene of the robbery to the area of Circle K, where he called 911. The victim was injured as a result of the robbery and was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment of a head wound and later released. Persons of interest were spoken to and a possible suspect was identified. This matter is currently under investigation.

Police were called to the store on Crystal Avenue around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday morning for a robbery in progress. Findlay police report the clerk said a man entered the store asking for help with cigarettes. The man then instructed the clerk to give him all of a certain kind of cigarettes and money in the cash drawer. The robber did pull a small handgun halfway out of his hoodie pocket during the crime. The clerk followed the directions and wasn't hurt. Police checked the area but the man was not found.

A two-alarm fire damaged a Lima gas station Thursday morning. The Lima Fire Department says they were called out to the Circle K gas station on N. West Street just before 5 a.m. on Thursday. A person noticed smoke coming from the roof of the business. There was a clerk inside who wasn't aware anything was wrong. The fire was contained in the attic and the cause is being investigated.

Ohio State Lima students spent their Valentine's Day spreading the love at local retirement communities. Students in the Circle K Club and the United Way have been working on making 600 valentines since early January to pass out to residents at local retirement homes.
