In an interview with Your News Now, Dr. Martin explained that side effects from the second shot of the vaccine, also called the booster shot, is expected to come with some side effects in a small percentage of people.

The health system held the question and answer session to discuss the organizations plans and processes that will ensure the safety and care of patients. They took questions about the vaccine, and COVID tests, and even possible treatments. Dr. William Kose, the vice president of special projects also said that their hospital is near capacity, and have new patients needing to be hospitalized every day. His colleagues and him have some advice for the upcoming holidays, especially as Thanksgiving is a few days away.

Things have changed greatly since then, and locally Allen County Public Health says that people have been mostly taking part in measures put in place by the Ohio Department of Health. The holiday season is just around the corner, and everything that comes with it. Adding COVID-19 on top of that may make things stressful.

The state is reporting that about 38% of schools will go back full time, 25% will be all online, and 25% have a hybrid model. Many schools haven't reported a plan. Doctors in the children's hospital network emphasize children aren't immune from COVID-19, they just don't get it as frequently. And a small fraction of them does get sick and require hospital attention. Doctors are advising parents to get kids ready for a structure, their schedule going to school, wearing masks and washing hands.
