Adriel, a long-standing Ohio foster care provider, is opening a new office in Lima to expand services in Allen County. Officials say the move is driven by a continued statewide need for foster parents and child placement resources.

Ohio State Lima participated in the university’s “Out of the Darkness Campus Walk” to raise awareness about suicide prevention efforts.

A local organization is using tea and fellowship to help people struggling with stress, depression, and other mental wellness needs in the Lima area. Through shopping, raffles, and donations, 200 women supported Cornerstone of Hope at the ninth annual Women’s Hope Tea.

The mental and emotional needs of area residents are significant, and Cornerstone of Hope Lima is working to meet those needs.
