More children going through Children Services court proceedings will now be helped as additional Court Appointed Special Advocates are sworn in today(11/26/19). Ten new “CASA” volunteers were sworn in. These individuals will assist and mentor abused and neglected children through court hearings. They meet with the children on a regular basis, get to know them, and provide a voice for them during a troubling time. Many of these volunteers have worked with children prior to becoming a “CASA”.
