Lieutenant Sisco began his Patrol career in October 2001 as a member of the 138th Academy Class. He earned his commission in April of the following year and was assigned to the Van Wert Post. In 2008, he earned the Criminal Patrol Award. He was selected as Post Trooper of the Year twice and District Trooper of the Year in 2009. In 2011, he also earned the Criminal Patrol Certificate. As a trooper, he also served at the Defiance Post.

Ohio State Lima has two new programs starting this year, a primary education degree with an intervention specialist license and a professional writing minor for students to take advantage of. They also have 13 bachelor's degrees that can be completed right here in Lima or start one of the 200-plus majors before transferring to Columbus. University officials want them to know that they don't have to travel far to start their path to higher education.

Rhodes State College will be applying to the higher learning commission to be approved to offer a bachelor of science in nursing degree. They currently offer degrees for state-tested nursing assistants, licensed practical nurses, and an associate degree for a registered nurse. So getting approval for a bachelor's degree is important for the college to help expand opportunities for their students, but also for local hospitals as well.
