While installing cameras is highly recommended in identifying crooks, that doesn't guarantee they get caught. The key to prevention comes down to knowing where your package is at all times.
Next week is the annual chicken barbeque for the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Each year the money raised has a specific project it goes towards. This year is the All Abilities Playgrounds and their upkeep. The group sells thousands of meals each year and hopes to meet their goal of 3,500 dinners. Ohio Northern University has rolled out a new food delivery service all powered by robots. The university has partnered with food service company Sodexo to bring what are called kiwibots. They not only serve students with a smile in the dining hall, but they also deliver food around campus by simply ordering through a mobile app. More than just food services, the fancy robots even delivered the football for their first football game.
USPS Retail Associate Stacy Jorgensen received the Postmaster General Hero award for helping an elderly man who had fallen victim to a scam. A regular customer she knew very well purchased two large money orders to send internationally and she knew this was unusual. “I took care of him while I worked at a nursing home and I know he does not have family oversees,” Jorgensen recalled.
