An Eagle Scout project will give the students at Heritage Elementary a new place to learn and create when they come back to school on Wednesday. Noah Sims is a Boy Scout from Troop 106 and took on the project to revamp the courtyard at Heritage after talking with his mom, who teaches there. Sims colorfully painted teepee and benches and added storage cabinets, shaped like houses that hold books, art supplies, and musical instruments. Sims wanted to create an outdoor learning environment for the students that will help them excel in music, art, and reading.
