Students of Lima West Middle School took a break from the books and learned about some life lessons this morning. The Positive Lifestyle Program was brought to the students to teach them about positive paths toward success. The program brings in African-American speakers to share their life journey and how they got to where they are today. The program not only teaches the students about making the right choices toward a career path but also teaches them about self-esteem, cultural tolerance and exposure to new careers. The students may walk away with a new role model.
