Sharetta Smith received Berger's endorsement at her headquarters located at the Carpenters Local 372 Hall. The current mayor stated that Smith had the qualifications that a mayor should have. Smith, who has worked with Berger over the past few years, says that she is honored to get the endorsement from the current Mayor of Lima.

The West Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, UAW Lima-Troy CAP Council, and the Lima Building & Construction Trades Council all announced their endorsements for Sharetta Smith. A press conference was held at the Carpenters Local 372 building on East Market Street, where representatives from each group announced why they are supporting Smith.

A few business owners publicly endorsed Keith Cheney for mayor Tuesday at his campaign office in downtown Lima. 

Another day another endorsement, and Thursday, Allen County's Land Bank administrator and treasurer announced her endorsement for Keith Cheney in the Lima mayoral race.
