A few business owners publicly endorsed Keith Cheney for mayor Tuesday at his campaign office in downtown Lima.
The endorsers included the CEOÂ of Spherion and the chairman of Wannemacher Total Logistics of Allen County. Other area business owners were in attendance. At the conference Cheney said he was committed to making businesses a priority if elected mayor by Lima residents. He emphasized his hope to make it easier for new and expanding business owners to obtain permits without hassle.
The chairman of Wannemacher says he is looking for a leader that can bring together businesses from throughout the region.Â
Keith Cheney is running for mayor against incumbent Mayor David Berger.Â
