LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Phase two of the Downtown Lima Streetscape project is currently underway, prompting a temporary road closure on Monday.

The program connects individuals ages 16 to 24 with paid summer internships in fields they are interested in pursuing. Participants must register for pre-employment training to take part in the program.

Potts Entrepreneur Center, and the Lima Area Chamber Foundation where up to $10,500 of funds will be awarded to the winning candidates. Entrepreneurs present their product or service to a panel of judges, and they are evaluated on how well their business plan will produce financial success in today's economy and job market. Organizers of Pitchfest hold this event to promote an avenue where small businesses can help thrive the local economy.
