LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Phase two of the Downtown Lima Streetscape project is currently underway, prompting a temporary road closure on Monday.
The intersection of Central Avenue and Wayne Street will be closed on Monday, July 7, and Tuesday, July 8. City officials advise those needing access to the Lima Utilities Department to use the drive located just before the train tracks. Access to local businesses and properties along Central Avenue will be maintained throughout most of the construction. Full access will also be available during non-working hours, from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
