WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — A Lima man has been indicted on multiple charges, including murder, in connection with the death of a St. Marys man earlier this year.
Charles Stockton, 50, has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, felonious assault, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence in the death of Christopher Slone. According to St. Marys Police, Slone was found dead in his home on April 29. Following an autopsy to determine the cause of death, investigators identified Stockton as a suspect and subsequently arrested him. Stockton remains in the Auglaize County Jail on a $1 million bond. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for July.
