FINDLAY, OH (WLIO) — Three ATVs were stolen from a Findlay business, and the suspects led police on a chase into Wood County early Sunday morning.
According to the Findlay Police Department, just after 4 a.m. officers were called to American Power Sports for an alarm. When they arrived, they saw that someone had broken into the business and saw three four-wheeler ATVs fleeing the scene.
One of the ATVs was located just south of The Cube in Findlay.
A Hancock County deputy found the other two ATVs heading north on Main Street. The deputy and Findlay officers chased them to North Baltimore.
When the ATVs got onto the railroad tracks, they got off around Cygnet and went onto I-75 north.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol took over the chase but terminated it near the I-75 and I-475 split in Perrysburg.
Perrysburg Township police recovered another one of the ATVs later Sunday morning.
The suspects are unknown, and the investigation continues.
