October 16, 2024, Press Release from the University of Northwestern Ohio: LIMA, Ohio (October 15, 2024)—Intersport, the award-winning agency and operator of the ServiceTitan Elite Trades Championship Series (ETCS), has generously donated automotive engines to the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH). The donation will enhance the hands-on learning experience for students in UNOH’s automotive and high performance motorsports education programs, providing them with industry-standard equipment to practice on as they prepare for careers in the automotive field.

The Rebel Run Car Show features a myriad of automobiles including historical cars with vintage license plates, classic, muscle, and sports cars with even classic trucks. Saturday, September 17th is the final day of the car show. The car show will conclude with judges coming out to the fairgrounds, inspecting the cars, and presenting the winners at the awards banquet
An open house was held at the Lincoln Park railroad exhibit and small town classic depot. It was in conjunction with a diesel-powered train excursion, from Springfield Ohio, operated by the Ohio rail experience. Around 250 visitors got to climb on and explore the last Lima locomotive works steam nickel plate road engine that retired in 1958. Plus they were shuttled to the Allen county museum to check out the exhibits there.

The show arena at the Allen County Fairgrounds is full of hundreds of items up for sale. The Sheriff Auction Sale is tomorrow at 10 am. You can find anything from bikes, clothing, chairs, computers, and even an industrial mixer. Outside there are engines, trailers, vehicles, and yes even a pizza oven. Most items are from county offices where others have been confiscated. It all must sell.
