This year’s event marked the largest amount raised in the show’s 11-year history. On Aug. 1, more than 260 cars, trucks and motorcycles filled the dealership’s lot to support the cause. Each year, the Charity Car Show selects a different organization to benefit.

Family Promise of Lima-Allen County held their 7th Annual Valentine's Day Fundraising Event on Saturday night. There were live singers, items auctioned off, and a catered dinner prepared by students from Lima Senior High School.
Chief Supermarkets made a special donation for Family Promise of Lima-Allen County Monday afternoon. The organization was given $2,000 worth of diapers from Chief, to be given to families in need throughout our community.
Tuesday afternoon, Family Promise of Lima-Allen County accepted money that was raised thanks to an annual event. Back in May, the 10th annual Scrabble Run and motorcycle show was put on by Ohio Cycleworx, with all the proceeds going back to Family Promise.
Family Promise of Lima-Allen County is an organization that helps homeless families through food donations and shelter.
