Lima businesswoman Megan Horton is continuing her efforts to support local entrepreneurs through her “Mega” pop-up events. With the arrival of fall, Horton is featuring a group of Lima designers in a seasonal fashion show. She says it’s important to support local artists and experience their unique flair for fashion.
ViaQuest held a fashion show this afternoon to give participants in their day programs a chance to show off their creativity and style.
“It’s really exciting sharing what’s going on at the Central District. We just hope people who haven’t been out yet will come and take a look. It’s filled with many unique businesses, and we all complement one another really well. It’s a neat, neat place.”

6th and 7th graders at Liberty Arts Magnet School tried their hands at fashion design during theater class today. The rules are that the students had to pick a card with a character on it, and had to create a costume for that character. The contest was not only fun but also a learning experience.
