Following the holiday weekend, the Mayor's Spring Cleanup will continue this Saturday. For those who haven't had a chance to pitch in you will be able to this Saturday or next Saturday, June 11. The past two weekends have been a success allowing over 50 volunteers to help out and encouraging almost 200 people to get rid of their junk. At least 19 dumpsters have been filled with nearly 250 loads, and almost 1,500 tires.

Adult education at Apollo Career Center has received grant money from the Ohio Department of Higher Education. Apollo has been awarded $71,000 through the Short-Term Technical Certificate Grant.
