Deputies found the crash scene at CR 7 and 330 when they were going to assist in another crash. The two drivers were not wearing their seatbelts and were seriously injured.
9-1-1 calls for Findlay Police Department and the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office are back to normal. The sheriff's office says that the phone issues for both departments have been fixed.
An Ada man is now in the hospital after an accident in Hancock County Saturday morning. At 5:22 a.m., The Hancock County Sheriff's Office says that a 1999 Ford truck operated by 20-year-old Nicholas Thompson was traveling south on CR12, Thompson then lost control of the vehicle. He then drove off the roadway to the right, overcorrected, overturned, and came to a rest in a field at 12824 CR12 near CR54. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital with unknown injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
A Findlay man is arrested after striking a Hancock County Sheriff's cruiser during a short chase on Saturday. 37-year-old Chandler Parker was booked on several felony charges following the police chase that happened just after 7 o'clock Saturday night. Deputies located a vehicle that was taken by Parker, who was not authorized to use it. Parker drives away when deputies tried to do a traffic stop. During the chase, Parker stopped the vehicle, put it in reverse, and hit the deputy's car. He later stopped at a nearby gas station where he was taken into custody. Deputies believe he was under the influence of alcohol at the time.
