September 18, 2024, Press Release from the University of Findlay: FINDLAY, Ohio — University of Findlay will host its annual Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place in the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex and is free and open to the public. This year’s fair will offer an expanded range of activities and services, including a focus on flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Mercy Health-St. Rita's may have something for you. Their Club 129 is hosting a combination health fair block party this Saturday. It's a chance to bring residents together to provide them with services they may not know they are eligible for. The West Ohio Food Bank will be there with a food distribution, and there will also be a bike helmet distribution for those needing one.

The Van Wert County Council on Aging will be putting on a fair to help out local seniors. Next week, the Council on Aging will be hosting a job and health fair at their building, featuring health information and services from Van Wert Health.

What started as a shoe drive for the community turned into a full-blown health fair in New Bremen. 

The St. Paul United Church of Christ held their first ever health fair with the help from Grand Lake Health System. Several vendors set up shop and most of the services were free. People even got to get free haircuts and back massages.  Becky Erb Strang, the Senior Pastor at the church, says that they’re always looking for new ways to reach out to the wider community.
