Many families affected by the recent hurricanes in the south are still struggling and in need of assistance, so students at Perry High School are stepping up to do their part in relief efforts. Students launched the "Be the Change" fundraiser earlier this month to help raise money for the families impacted by the hurricanes. Calling on their fellow students and staff to find any loose change they may have lying around the house or their cars to be donated to the fundraiser. The students realize they will probably never meet these families, but know it's the right thing to do to help them with whatever change they have.
