There are several places across the region where you can catch fireworks displays this week and enjoy the "Oohh’s and Aahh’s" of the Fourth of July holiday.
The community picnic, a long-standing tradition held on the last weekend of June, features food vendors, games, live music and family activities.
Entertainment continues into the evening, with the Lima Area Concert Band performing at 8 p.m. in the Bowl at Faurot Park. The concert leads up to the region’s largest fireworks display, which will light up the sky at 10 p.m.
Taking place on July 4th and beginning at 11 a.m. the annual parade will step off at South Main and Lima, travel north on Main Street through Downtown Findlay, ending at the Hancock County War Memorial located at the intersection of North Main Street and Center Street.
